I have personally ridden this bike around town and through local rural roads on more than one occasion and it is an absolute joy to ride.
While this bike has been in my shop, I have noticed that it wet sumps fairly quickly, so I have gotten in the habit of draining the case before riding if the bike has sat more than a week. There is a Webco plate with a very easily accessible drain bolt right at the bottom of the case. One could also install a valve in the oil line from the oil tank.
Clean CA title, Street legal status and current registration through August! Please note that based on my research I believe this bike is a 1949 year model that is currently titled as a 1948. It is my understanding that a 1948 model would have had a "YB" designation. The DMV has also noted the engine number as "AB34>>>" on the title - an error I have seen at least 3 times in my business and I can tell you it has never caused an issue - even when shipping overseas. Most states do not use engine numbers on titles anyway. If the year and engine number error are an issue for a prospective buyer, they can easily be remedied with a CHP VIN verification and new title request.
CA Sales Tax will apply for California buyers.
