We get a lot of these clean mid-80s GM 'Square Body' pickups, and they're always pleasant, clean machines. But every so often, one like this 1986 GMC Sierra 1500 Classic shows up and smacks us around a bit. This one is every bit as clean and functional as the others, but it packs a snarling, fresh 350 V8 crate motor under the hood that makes it more muscle car than utilitarian hauler and features an aggressive presentation that redefines what we consider vintage curb appeal.
While we tend to overlook trucks in our everyday life, this Sierra looks downright spectacular in its bright white livery. Maybe it's the way the dark tinted windows make it look sinister, or the slammed stance atop those slick wheels, regardless it somehow manages to look aggressive and uniformly clean all at once. It's pretty obvious that this one has been personal transportation, not a workhorse, since it was new, especially as a regular cab/short bed model, and most of its hauling was probably limited to personal gear and helping friends move. As a result, its bodywork is clean, smooth, and straight, with a great shine that still stands out at shows. Of course, things like the bright billet grille and cowl induction hood certainly help, not to mention the LED lighting up front and custom roll pan in the rear. In fact, all the lenses and lights look brand new, and between the original badging and brightwork, there's plenty of bling to go around. The bright chrome bumper up front shines up like new, which is important with a forward-canted truck with this kind of raked stance, while out back that roll bar was done right to match the clean tailgate. Inside the bed is protected with a black spray-in bedliner, so feel free to actually use this 'Square Body' like a truck is actually intended.
The stock bench seat interior gives nothing away about the upgrades under the hood, either. That's original-style blue upholstery on the seat, matching plush carpets underneath, and matching factory door panels on both sides. Billet accents on the door panels and dash add a custom touch, as does the bright blue LED interior lighting. Options like A/C (blowing cold R134a treated air), a trick leather-wrapped billet steering wheel atop a tilt steering column, and power windows/locks help make this Sierra an absolute pleasure to drive even when you're not using that 350 to its full potential. Ahead of that cool steering wheel is a combination of both stock and aftermarket gauges, with the white-faced units matching a full set of auxiliary units mounted below the center of the dash, including a giant tachometer with a bright red rev light. Entertainment comes via an Alpine AM/FM/CD/AUX that utilizes aftermarket speakers in the kick panels, while cool little additions like the removable cup holder/center console, the big footprint gas pedal, and the aftermarket rubber floormats all make this cabin feel extra special.
All that's pretty nice, but the thing that got our attention with this one is the 350 cubic inch V8 under the hood that came from Summit Racing in 2019. Complete with heavy-duty hardware like an Edelbrock 600CFM 4-barrel carburetor, an aluminum intake manifold, and Hooker long-tube headers, it runs like it's 800 pounds lighter than it is. It looks a bit flashier than stock, which is entirely the point, with a shiny blue open-element air cleaner, the black Edelbrock valve covers, and steel-braided lines that tend to show off a bit. However, other gear looks bone stock, like the accessory drive, the A/C compressor, and even the big radiator up front. A stout TH350 3-speed automatic transmission with a chrome pan works hard behind the crate motor, sending power aft to a heavy-duty 10-bolt rear end that has a bright differential cover of its own. The custom dual exhaust system uses shorty mufflers and turn-downs just before the rear axle, so the soundtrack might give things away, but you can't argue with the spectacular sound. The lowered stance is incredibly cool, assisted with a set of adjustable air shocks and Moon ladder bars in the rear, while power steering and power front disc brakes give the trucks superb road manners. Those awesome 20-inch Billet Specialties wheels offer an updated look on the old Halibrand-style wheel, and they're wrapped in staggered 245/45/20 front and 275/40/20 rear low-profile rubber with plenty of grip.
Nice truck? Absolutely. But if you're looking for something a little beyond merely "nice" then this Sierra is what you've been looking for. Call today!

We recognize the need for complete transparency when buying/selling vehicles on eBay. That said, we did not build, modify, or have the luxury of personal ownership that would give us the advantage of knowing all unknown aspects of each vehicle. Transparency is king and we're happy to try and answer ALL questions our customers might have prior to purchasing. Additionally, we welcome and encourage independent inspections (see Inspection statement below).
FEES
: A documentation fee of 9 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale. Sale price does not include any Title, License, Registration, State or Local Taxes or Processing Fees. We recommend you familiarize yourself with your individual state's taxes, transfer, or additional fees.
AVAILABILITY
: Please inquire prior to purchase to assure any advertised vehicle is not already sold. We advertise across multiple platforms where a vehicle can sell in a moment's notice. Vehicles may be sold prior to eBay listing end, and we reserve the right to end listings early or to cancel bids/offers solely at our discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.
CONTACT
: Note that you may hear from us after to the sale, but if you are a winning bidder, click a Buy-It-Now, or we accept your eBay Offer, it is your responsibility to contact us within 24 hours.
INSPECTION
: VERY IMPORTANT. If a buyer chooses to buy sight unseen (many of our buyers choose this option) the buyer accepts the vehicle AS-IS and understands we cannot address concerns post sale. For this reason, it's important all concerns are addressed prior to purchase. We make every effort to present accurate and reliable information, but use of this information is voluntary, and should only be deemed reliable after an independent review of its accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. It is the sole responsibility of the customer/buyer to verify the existence of options, accessories and the vehicle condition before time of sale.
PAYMENT
: We require a non-refundable 0 deposit within 48 hours of winning or commitment to purchase. Full payment is required within 7 days of offer acceptance unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing. If deposit and/or full payment are not provided within said timeframe, all vehicles will be relisted and transaction will be considered void. For balance of payment we will accept bank wire transfer (preferred), cashier's check, or personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears). We also offer vehicle financing, please inquire for details prior to making bids/offers. SHIPPING: We have access to a network of private and commercial carriers. Most of them can deliver the vehicle to your driveway and upon your schedule. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody. Buyers are welcomed to trailer vehicles home and we are happy to have everything ready to see you off with your new vehicle.
DRIVE IT HOME
: If you plan to buy and drive home, please keep some things in mind. Anything is possible when it comes to a vehicle, especially a classic or antique one. We recommend transporting all vehicles to your home first, then driving it locally. Get to know the vehicle and its tendencies before embarking on a long-distance trip. If you choose to drive your new vehicle home, buyer accepts all responsibility as we are unable to control what may take place once it leaves our facility.
DOCUMENTS & VEHICLE TITLE
: All purchase documents are sent immediately upon purchase. To avoid delays, we recommend returning any required documents within 24 hours of receipt. Please allow up to 30 days for vehicle titles. Usually titles are available sooner, we ask for the extra time in the event there are unforeseen circumstances.
VIN VERIFICATION
: We photograph the primary VIN location of every vehicle and make sure that VIN exactly matches the vehicle's current title. Buyer agrees to hold seller harmless from any disputes arising from other hidden or secondary VINs present on the vehicle as seller only verifies the primary VIN location. If needed, it is the buyer's sole responsibility to verify secondary VIN locations their specific state may inspect, prior to purchase.
MILEAGES
: Occasionally our vehicles may be driven or simply moved around our facilities. Slight differences may occur so we recommend you confirm actual and current miles prior to purchase.
CONDITION
: We cover the obvious and do our best to describe our vehicles in detail. Even so, please have a transparent conversation with us before purchasing. Do be aware that all pre-owned vehicles, regardless of age, mileage, or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. Finally, be advised that although our sales associates are here to assist you with your purchase, they are not trained or certified vehicle inspectors.
AS-IS
: All vehicles are sold "AS IS" and with no warranties expressed or implied. If you choose to waive inspection, do plan to have a detailed and transparent conversation with us regarding the vehicle's condition. Ask the hard questions up front. Please just call us, we are here to help and welcome all your questions!

Information is provided to the best of our knowledge and we make no warranty or representation regarding the accuracy, truth, or reliability of such information. We cannot be responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies contained in information provided by the consignor/seller of the vehicle.
