, this beautiful
1987
GMC
Sierra Classic 1500 4x4 Short Bed
. Loaded with options and the New built 454 Big Block! Newer Small 4" lift, with
New 35" BFG All Terrain mounted on New American Racing Wheels.
Newer Shocks and some bushings serviced all around. Interior in newer also with nice new padding and seat material with only one blem, a small burn hole pencil head size easy fix. Dash is nice and carpet, & side door panels are nice and the
gauges
all work good. Passenger side window is slow, but works and
power
locks work with note of the drivers entry door exterior handle needing a inner spring to work again from outside push button. Drivers door opens ok from inside only, the power lock on drivers door does not work either,
manually
will lock ok from inside. (Easy fixes - no time here.)
Truck
runs and starts good and this
Big Block
454
Engine
has
a lot
of power and was built for
torque
. Adjustments will need to be made to your areas
altitude
on the carb after getting this truck. (It is now set at a high altitude settings in Colorado)
The
Factory Air Conditioning
works good and is blowing cold. Power Locks, power Windows, power Steering, power Brakes, Am-Fm Stereo, 4 Sony small box Speakers behind seat needs hooked up.
The truck is very straight and the paint is 3 years old looking or so not sure when it was done but look good overall. There are normal dings and small scratches and chips from off road use and road use. The New Hood is Metal, not fiberglass.
OVERALL
- This is a very good looking SOLID
GMC
truck as is.
No major damage anywhere found on body or frame.
You will never find a truck this nice for the money!

The Colorado New Title is noted as "Salvage", due to tree limb damage to the original hood and passenger front fender both already being replaced with the upgraded new hood with a high rise center. This old
damage
has nothing to do with
performance
of the truck, or how it runs or looks now. But some will question why a "salvage title", but this is what we have and how the truck is being sold.
This GMC Truck still is a 100%
roadworthy
truck and can be
registered
and plated just like a normal truck would be, but please ask your own
DMV
for your states specific rules for new title and registration if presenting a Colorado Title with salvage stated.
The local dealership here in Grand Junction, Colorado selling this unit will provide you with all the proper legal paperwork for transfer and the new Colorado Title and bill of sale / purchase order. F
or most this type of title has no harm if your keeping the truck , but down the road your re-sale of the truck will show also a "salvage title". You can just enjoying the truck "as-is" as any other normal titled truck.
