    Description

I am offering my 2014 Ford F150 up for auction. I looked for over a year to find this truck. What I needed was something to have the power to pull my car trailer, leather seats, full 4 doors and 4 wheel drive. Plus, I wanted the steel body. This truck was purchased three and a half years ago from a dealer in Columbus Ohio as a Ford Certified Used Truck. There is a remainder of the power train warranty left. I was, and still am, pretty picky about this truck. It was parked in my shop during the winter and was only used if I absolutely needed it. I found my self driving my shop/plow truck all the time because I didn't want this truck dirty or damaged. And, coming out of Columbus, it hasn't seen much salt its life. The under carriage shows that with almost no rust. The reason for selling is that I just don't drive it. The last time I changed the oil was the end of July, 2020. I haven't even put 800 miles on it since then. Due to it being a year from the last oil change, I will be changing it again before it leaves with full synthetic and NAPA Gold (Wix) filter. If something was broken, and I knew about it, I fixed it. It didn't matter if it was a little clip, something cosmetic only or even something broken that I didn't use. I spent more time cleaning this truck then I did driving it.
BODY: The truck has no dents and minimal paint flaws. This is the last year of a steel body. There is the typical rock chips on the front and a small group of scratches by the drivers door handle. A picture is included but it's pretty hard to see. No heavy scratches or any ding larger then a dime. The flaws that are there are small and takes some looking to find. The black and tan paint shines great and just had a fresh detail. I do store the car in my shop so it is dusty now though. The original owner of the truck ordered running boards, bed liner, and a hard folding tonneau cover from Ford and had them installed when new. All doors, tail gate and hood open and close as they should. Power folding mirrors work as they should as well as the heat and auto dim function. The rear power slider was replaced over the winter because the defrost didn't work. I ordered the part from Classic Ford and had C-Auto glass install it. I never used the defrost but I didn't like that it wasn't working. Carfax shows an accident when it was new to the left rear of the truck. The repair looks great and I was unable to see what was done from looking at both the outside and behind/under the bed. No body work was done while I owned the truck.
CHASSIS: The underneath of this truck is very clean and tight. No loose or noisy suspension parts. Brakes are in good shape with half or more life left and no pulsations or noises while braking. When I drive the truck home they (rear) will squeak in reverse for the first time applying them in the mornings after sitting over night. While doing an oil change, one of the clips holding the lower engine guard broke. I ordered a new set, replaced the one that was broken and put the remaining new ones in the center console in case another broke in the future. Gear ration is 3.55 and it has an electric locker in the rear. All 4 wheel drive functions as well as electric locker work as they should. Tires are new Cooper Discoverer SRX 275-55R20 with less than 4000 miles on them. The previous tires were still fine tread wise but would squeal every sharp turn (there is a sharp "S" turn in a 25 MPH zone that I was traveling every morning to drop my son off at day care) so I replaced them. The wheels are very nice with no road rash. The trailer brakes and hill start assist work as they should.
POWERTRAIN: There is still a remainder of power train warranty left from being a factory Ford Certified used truck. I never needed it, but its there. I did a tune up this winter while it was here in storage. I replace the plugs with Motorcrafts ordered from Classic Ford. While removing the coils, one was chipped. The chip was cosmetic only but I didn't like it. I also couldn't just replace one coil so all 6 were ordered from the same dealer and replaced. I saved all the old coils and will go with the truck as spares. The truck has great power and pulls well. It was never modified or tuned and still has all the original exhaust and intake parts. My average MPG ranged around 15-15.5 on my 10 mile round trip to and from work which included mostly city and a 1 mile freeway travel. The most I got was just under 24 MPG on flat land going the speed limit. We took the truck to Lousiville KY with my Feather lite trailer to pick up a 36 Ford. The average MPG while towing empty there and full on the way back was just under 15. Same a year later with another 36 Ford picked up in Wisconsin. We used the truck to go on Vacation last summer to Lake Norman NC and the average was around 20.5. The tow/haul mode works great as does the manual shift feature. The Hill Start Assist is nice when you have a loaded trailer at a stop light with a steep hill. The brakes stay engaged for a few seconds or until you touch the gas pedal. There are no spots left under the truck no matter how long it has been parked for. The battery was replaced the spring of 19 with a Motorcraft battery.
INTERIOR: The inside of the truck is in great shape. The dimples you see in the passenger rear seat are from my sons child seat. It has, I believe, pretty much every option available. Sony stereo sounds fantastic. All options work as they should. Although, I never tried to program the garage door opener. Both front seats are power and also has a memory drivers seat. Moon roof works as it should with no leaks. A previous owner must have been a smoker and there is a spot on the drivers seat (see the picture). Woodgrain, leather and dash surfaces look great. The original owner ordered factory fitting rubber floor mats (also see pictures). When I bought the truck, one of the vent openings had a piece that didn't move with the rest. I replaced it with a new one from the dealer. All steering wheel controls work as they should. My phone connects perfectly to the Sync feature. The rear windows are a factory privacy tint and I had the front door glass tinted to 35%. Windshield is whatever the factory tint is with no aftermarket tint added.
The truck has a clear title in my name and it is paid off. I have it stored in my shop in Willoughby Ohio 44094. From being parked in here for the past 2 weeks, the truck did get a little dusty and has some water spots on the front from the garage door being open during a rain shower. No big deal, but I figured I would say. I strongly recommend looking at this truck, you wont be disappointed. There are no issues that I am aware of and I wouldn't hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. Unless it's in the winter, it doesn't need to see salt while I own it unless it has to. Fly in and drive home or I can meet your shipper at an open lot anywhere in this area. I included pictures of the flaws that I notice and I can take any picture that you want to see. The mileage will be within 20 miles of what is listed. I wont release the truck until the payment has cleared and the title has been signed out of my name. Ohio is a notary state so I will need the high bidders information to get it transfered out of my name. I wont be able to let the truck leave with my plates. I need them to transfer over to another vehicle. Cash, bank check or wire transfer is what I will accept for payment with 0 due through paypal within 24 hours of auction ending. Feel free to contact me for any more pictures that you may want. Thanks!
