    Description
    This is an historic stamped cover featuring the 2 cents Andrew Jackson American Bank Note Issue of 1879, Scott #183, sent from Boston to Cambridgetown, Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1881. The stamp has a socked on the nose fancy circular dot patent grid cancellation, Cole Number PT-44. Although the cover is torn, the stamp appears to be intact with some original gum. Any faults, if present, would be confined to the tips of the perforations and would not detract from the appearance of the stamp which is sold primarily for its fancy cancellation on its Boston postmarked cover.
