This is a known unmarked toy.
A consensus among our
fellow toy dealers is that
it was made in Germany.
Not by Guntherman but
similar to the time period
construction style.
Late 1800's early 1900's
Simple cam shaft moves wings up & down
while being push. The wheels are tin can tops.
Riveted construction.
Enamel paint over raw tin.
Antique "as found" Condition
Works great. Some scratches in
paint but no flaking or rust present.
Metal is toned from age.
Color is bright with original shine.
A simple wood dowel rod, found at any
hardware store, is used to
push toy. The one that was
with the toy was a replacement and
will not be included to keep shipping
cost down. I used a pencil in the pics.
