special toys
for big boys & girls!
This is a charming antique, tin and
lithographed
wood,
turn-of-the-century era
, pony racer, pull toy with very good color and overall condition for its age and over a hundred years of use. When the toy is pulled the metal spoke wheels turn and the horse's legs trot forward. All the pony's colorful, paper lithography is still intact (as most of these toys are usually found with lots of missing paper). It measure about
7 inches long and 3 1/2 inches tall
. Just add your miniature antique doll to the open seat and "off to the races"!These were extremely popular toys produced by the
Gibbs Manufacturing Co. of Canton, Ohio, circa 1900.
Truly a great vintage toy with lots of appeal!
Our antique dollhouse figures & other items are
