    Description

Tool has multiple functions in the HDPE and PVC underground pipe utility industry.  These are available in 2 - 6 inch IPS ( iron pipe size, same as schedule 40 PVC and HDPE )  and we will consider any other sizes.
The tool aids in the installation of  couplings on HDPE pipe and PVC pipe.  Great  for slip couplings that move hard on HDPE pipe because of the curve / out of round.
Slip the tool over the pipe and up against the coupling them pound with a 2 pound hammer until the coupling is in the desired position.
Also a great tool to re-round the HDPE pipe.
Slip the tool over the narrow side of the pipe and rotate 90 degrees till the HDPE pipe is back to round.
This makes it easy to slip a fitting onto the pipe.
The ideal use is to re-round with one tool and then use the second tool to drive the coupling on.
Also helpful in re-rounding the HDPE pipe to make easier set up in fusion machine. thanks
This tool can also aid in coupling Bore-Gard Conduit.  With this tool the worker can be right at the joint and pound the pipes together instead of 20 feet away where one can not see the joint.  Caution not to damage the coupling.
To use this process, block the coupling end of the pipe, line up the next joint, use the tool up against the coupling to force the pipe into position.  This allows the worker to observe the process as the pipes move into position.
Would prefer to sell with out handle for shipping purposes.  Handle is 1 inch steel w/ NPT. May deduct .00.
Please check back we will be adding photos to show more details.
We have been directional drilling for 22 years and we use a lot of the slip couplings.
