    Heavy duty steel mounting plate is 15 1/2 X 9 overall, with the screw holes spaced at 11 X 7.  With a little modification to the existing top plate, this fan kit can work on most racks with a metal top.  Drill, bits, jig saw, metal cutting blades, ingenuity.  That is all that is needed.   This fan kit sells for well over 0 in a factory sealed box.
