wooden pull toy
made in Greece
by the legendary wooden toy company
Kouvalias
.  The elephant's head is on a
spring
and his tail is made of
black
rubber/plastic
- otherwise the toy is all
wooden
.  It is painted in bright,
non toxic paint
of colors "golden yellow" and "tomato red", "black" and has "white embellishments" on each side of his body.  His body "bounces" up and down and sides of his body move in a circular motion when pulled on the string (all effortlessly).
His body is
5" tall
at the highest point,
7 1/4" long
from nose tip to tail and
4" wide
.
This was a gift to our daughter in 1980.
Please refer to the photos.  The "ball" wooden feet, ears and red sides have white scuffs marks on them.  (Please refer to the photos).  His eyes and tail are fine.
