    Description

    This letterpress poster was inspired by the film noir movie,"The Maltese Falcon", made in 1941 staring Humphry Bogart, Mary Astor, Peter Lorre and Sydney Greenstreet. Several wellknown quotations from the movie are on the poster.
    Printed in black and grays with a light background tint of a Maltese Falcon. Type was hand-set in metal and wood type and printed on 65lb. cover paper. Printed on a Vandercook cylinder press at Green Mountain Letterpress.
