Be warned though, after using this a few times, you’re gonna be plotting ways to throw out your old cooktop so you can justify a whole new INDUCTION cooktop! I’ve had my induction range for a couple months now and I can’t imagine cooking on anything else now.
The best things about induction are how super fast they heat (you’ll burn a pan and some foods before you get the hang of it if you’re not attentive - it’s that fast) and the safety factor. You can drop a towel on it and it won’t catch fire. The surface doesn’t get that hot. It’s the pan that gets super hot.
Oh, and I love the clean up! A pot that boils over onto surface doesn’t burn onto the cooktop. Simply remove pan From surface,
clean up with paper towel and get cooking again.
