PLAYBILL Rare Lot of 3 Hard-To-Find 1980s Shows! Bill Irwin, Jasmine Guy, Reno
This Lot Includes Three Playbills for the 1980s New York City Runs of these shows:
LARGELY NEW YORK:
A Clean, Fresh, Like-New (my opinion) copy of the rare PLAYBILL for the offbeat 1989 Broadway show "Largely New York"! The show starred the multi-talented Bill Irwin, whose dozens of appearances include roles as "Mr. Noodle" on Sesame Street, as well as the TV series Legion, CSI, SVU, Sleepy Hollow, and the classic music video for Bobby McFerrin's song Don't Worry, Be Happy!
Largely New York opened May 1, 1989 and ran for 144 performances.
The program shows virtually no wear and is in fantastic condition for a 30-year-old PLAYBILL! The spine is strong, the pages bright and there are no rips or tears (only a couple of small smudges on the back cover advertisement)!  Also includes a neat quiz asking players to name shows based on their PLAYBILL images!
BEEHIVE:
This is a Clean, Fresh, copy of the rare PLAYBILL for the 1986 Off-Broadway show "Beehive"! The show starred Jasmine Guy, best known for her role on TV's A Different World and the Spike Lee film School Daze!
Beehive opened at the Village Gate Upstairs in New York in March, 1986, closed in 1987, and ran for 600 performances.
The program shows virtually no wear and is in fantastic condition for a 33-year-old PLAYBILL! The spine is strong, the pages bright and there are no rips or tears (only what appears to be a small ink mark on the cover)!
RENO IN RAGE AND REHAB:
This is a Clean, Fresh, VG copy of the rare PLAYBILL for the 1989 Off-Broadway show "Reno in Rage and Rehab"! The show starred Comedian, Actor, Writer and Producer Reno.
Reno in Rage and Rehab opened at the Actor's Playhouse in New York in March, 1989 and ran for 85 performances. Later that year the show aired on HBO.
The program shows virtually no wear and is in fantastic condition for a 30-year-old PLAYBILL! The spine is strong, the pages bright and there are no rips or tears (there are some fingerprint marks on the back cover advertisement).
