Vintage 1940s 50s Mavco 9" Alligator Pull Toy - Plastic - Rubber Band Windup

Description

This is a great looking plastic toy alligator that is 9" long.  It has a metal wheel inside it that winds up when you pull the string on top.  Release it and the wheel spins and makes the alligator move across the floor.  The rubber band that these used usually dried up and broke.  I replaced it with a new one but the old band was very thin and the new ones are too thick to hook into the side hooks.  I taped them on the sides just to hold them in place.  There are no cracks or breaks on the toy.
