Vintage Brown Wood Horse Pull Toy with Green Base~Germany

VINTAGE WOOD HORSE PULL TOY ~ GERMANY
This is a nice old horse pull toy made of wood.
It is mounted on a green painted wood base which originally would have had wheels.
Unfortunately, the wheels have long since been lost from years of play.
The holes can be seen on the base where they were originally attached with a small nail (one nail is still there).
The entire horse is painted brown and it has green painted on reins, etc. The face also has painted details.
The base measures 6-1/2" long X2-1/4" wide and the toy is 6" tall.
There is some wear as expected in an old toy that has been well-loved. Please see the photos for detail.
There is a stub of the original old tail left and one of the ears is still intact. There is also a hole in the front of the base for s string to enable the horse to be pulled.
This was probably a Christmas toy for some lucky child.
It is a neat old German toy.
