Condition:
Previously-Owned/Used. Due their age and the era in which they were made, lighters are being sold for their collectible nature. Not for use, as they no longer meet the safety standards of today (i.e. child locks, ect.). They will be mailed out as-is, empty of any "active fluid" and just the residual they contain from the 35+ years from when they were made.
Please review pictures and descriptions in its entirety, as they serve to inform the buyer as to the condition of the products they are purchasing. I recommend viewing the article on different screens to get an idea of color, hue, tone, ect., as devices tend to have different color settings. The item(s) listed, is the item(s) you will be receiving. Your bid confirms that you have reviewed all images in detail and are satisfied with the item you are purchasing (i.e. assumptions have been brought to the seller's attention by the buyer, if any). If you have inquiries and/or need more pictures of the article(s), please reach out BEFORE placing a bid or purchase.
Articles have always been kept in a smoke (of any kind) free environment.
Mailing Details
:
This item is being shipped via USPS mail (
tracking with
NO coverage
). I always mail items out the next available pick up date (when possible) to expedite delivery. USPS has been running slow and sometimes fast, it all depends on the sorting depots the parcel will travel through. Please kindly keep this in mind when expecting your article(s). We always have items out on the next business day, however it is not always a guarantee as it is up to the carrier when it comes to speed of delivery.
Terms and Conditions/Return Guidelines:
All items are sold as-is, with no returns accepted due to their collectible nature and/or condition. Buyer is to please kindly pay for the product(s) they purchase in a timely manner, within 48 hours. I, as a Seller, will provide shipping information to the buyer and a tracking number, so they can monitor their parcel. It is the responsibility of the buyer if they have parcels stolen (a history of and/or possibility) to contact the carrier to put a hold on the package, if they will not be available (i.e. home) at time of delivery. Insurance is an option I can add to every purchase, so this is a cost that is to be added to the purchase price along with shipping costs. This means that if you desire insurance, please wait until I send you an invoice that reflects the cost of the coverage. Please do not assume your parcel has insurance until you receive an invoice from us. Carriers can accidently damage packages, which is why we offer coverage options and it is up to the buyer if they desire to gamble on accidental damage that may be caused during transit. Coverage needed can only be determined until AFTER the auction ends, as the scale goes by the final purchase price, but we charge the exact amount the carrier charges.
If payment is not submitted within the allotted time period, eBay will automatically file an "unpaid item claim". In return, we will consider the article(s) forfeited and we will relist the item(s). We will also be forced to unfortunately block bidders that do not abide by the listing's rules and abuse the terms. If a member files a
false
"not as described/non-working/defective" claim, the buyer will be responsible for shipping costs associated with returning the item(s). Also, any costs associated with any damage/use (not in the same condition it was sent) that was caused to the article when it left our custody (up to 50% of cost, as set per eBay's TOS), shall be the buyer's responsibility, if such action takes place. We also report such abuses to authorities if a member attempts to "scam" by returning another item and/or altered what was sold (i.e. mail fraud, filing a fraudulent claim with eBay, and any other entities). Reports to law enforcement are filed in both jurisdictions by the seller, ours and where the member resides.
We do not accept returns that are considered "buyers remorse", so please bid/purchase responsibly
. We sell collectible goods and have no intention in selling a return that a member altered in an attempt to force a refund (not fair to future buyers), which is why we will exercise our rights to make ourselves whole, if an event should arise where a member is abusing and filing a false claim. All our articles have ever had one owner and when an item is sold and sent, it can't be restocked/resold as the "one owner" history has now been voided when returned.
When are Returns Accepted? We error and we are fair, and will pay for the return label, with no cost to the buyer and a full refund will be dispensed. Again, returns are not accepted just because a change of heart, purchased the wrong item, assumptions were made by the buyer and not addressed with the seller, buyer did not notice a detail (or lack of), carrier lost or damaged the item, buyer did not read the terms and conditions in its entirety........and so forth.

(and Bid Retractions)
:
We will be reaching out before the auction ends. I will be forced to cancel bids of members that do not reply in a timely manner (or at all) and/or confirm to follow through with their obligation to pay when the auction ends. Such members will be blocked and reported to eBay. We will submit for an investigation when potential and/or suspicious fraudulent accounts need a review (IP usage that mirrors other accounts). If the account is being used as a secondary account to "snipe" an auction (i.e. other Seller selling the same item is trying to manipulate auctions of like kind and/or a history of bidding on items related to one Seller ID most times). Or, members who want to use an account to place bids they will intentionally default on because they want to secure the item, so no one else gets it, but have not made up their mind if they really want it ("flakes"). If a bid is retracted hours later with the alleged excuse of "
wrong amount
", those members will be blocked permanently. Please refrain from messaging us to lift restrictions if you have had too many "unpaid claims" against your account and are unable to place a bid. We do not alter the contract by making such exceptions.
The transaction process on eBay is a simple one, and we plan to keep it as such and fair for everyone. I do not cancel bids and/or retract bids, unless I suspect fraud and will do my best to keep the eBay community a pleasant experience; by removing "members" that are a potential fraud risk and/or have a history of not following the standards set forth. You are responsible for your own account and treat it accordingly.
