    Description

    The Gong Bell Manufacturing Company started in 1899, and had ceased doing business by 1960.  This fellow is a pretty normal example, both of type and condition, for these toys.  This toy is a fair size, measuring 11 1/2 in by 9 in.   There are wear spots on the chrome and all other metal parts.  Still has two silvered paper hubcaps.  Bells ring nicely .  The paper overlay of the dog has no chips or tears, but does have quite a few age discolored spots.
