    Vintage Metal Top Made in the U.S.A by Idle Hour Toys
    There are four labels on the top: “P & S Products”, “Idle Hour Toy”, “Made in U.S.A.” and "Pat Pending".
    Very few metal tops were made in America.
    Check out the lithography.  Is that a P-51 fighter? How ‘bout a B-17 bomber? Maybe an M-10000 train? Looks like an Indy race car. The graphics coupled with the colors makes one think late 1940's-early 1950's?
