Vintage Plasto Chalkware Hula Girl Mid Century Modern 1950's Table Lamp
A unique mid-century chalkware lamp featuring a hula dancer in a grass skirt.  The lamp is fairly large, measuring 32" tall overall.  The lamp is marked on the base with letters that are difficult to read but appear to be "...sto Chicago".  Photos of matching lamps indicate this is actually "Plasto Chicago".  A matching fabric-covered metal-frame shade is included.   The shade measures 20" in diameter and 11" tall.
Condition:  The lamp is in fair to good condition overall, but has areas of paint loss, touch up and crazing, especially on the abdomen of the dancer, a small spot next to her nose, and on the left leg.  The wiring in the socket is loose and needs to be repaired before plugging it in.  The fabric of the shade is in poor condition and will require restoration if used with the lamp; the frame of the shade is in good condition and seems to have its original shape.
Shipping:  The lamp will be carefully packed and shipped via economy ground shipping.
Warning:  As with all vintage lamps, this lamp should be carefully inspected, repaired and/or rewired before use.  It is not in functional condition now.  The wire in the bulb socket is loose and needs to be reattached.
